springsodastl;dr I have a colonoscopy tomorrow and as part of the prep I have to do beforehand, I have to fast for 24 hours before the actual procedure. I have already had to physically restrain myself multiple times from grabbing something from the kitchen to snack on and I even had to bring my entire stash of pocky downstairs because it was too tempting to rip open a pack and devour it.
I'm really hoping I do everything correctly and that they're able to go through with the procedure without a problem because if they have to abort it for Reasons™, then I'm going to have to go through this all over again and I am NOT looking forward to that possibility.
