Profile
Like many of his other franchise incarnations, Splintered Fate's version of Raphael can be easily described as a brash, no-nonsense, headstrong New Yorker. He is the most impulsive and aggressive of his brothers who loves a good fight, and is noteworthy for his blunt speech mannerisms, preferring to speak his mind regardless of whether anyone wants to hear it or not. That said, he is an incredibly passionate individual who is extremely protective of those he loves and hates seeing them hurt, physically or emotionally.
Raphael does his best to try and present himself as a tough guy, as evidenced by his tendency to smack talk enemies during battles and apparent dislike of conversations that are sappier in nature. In spite of this, it is apparent that he is a much softer individual than he lets on, often providing encouragement to Leonardo whenever he questions his abilities as their leader and openly expressing frustration when the Rat King successfully toys with Michelangelo's heart late in the game. He also has his fair share of insecurities—he recognizes that he's not smart in the same way that Donatello is and even admits to Splinter that he felt stupid for losing to Bebop and Rocksteady in a conversation that they have. No matter the circumstances, though, his big heart and sense of determination serve him well in the turtles' mission to rescue their father from the Shredder. Interestingly, despite his impulsive tendencies, he tends to be the most cautious of the turtles and often displays cynicism towards those that he barely knows or has a negative history with, such as the Chairman or Leatherhead.
In-Game
As mentioned in his in-game blurb, Raphael's playstyle emphasizes aggression and critical damage. Both of his inspirations increase the critical hit chance for his special and regular attacks, with one also the increasing the critical hit damage of his regular attacks. His default tool is the Turtle Line, which deals 30 damage upon hitting enemies and will either pull them towards him or pull him towards them (depending on if it's a regular enemy or boss.)
